Experience

 

Ruark & Wyatt's two principals are Bill Ruark and Kevin Wyatt. Each principal has 25 years of daily, hands-on project experience in all aspects of architectural design, including master planning, space planning and interior design.

Both Bill and Kevin have earned a Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and they are both registered architects in Georgia as well as in most of the southeastern states. They have worked on projects in GA, AK, AL, CA, FL, IN, LA, MS, NC, NV, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT.

 

Bill Ruark, AIA

Bill's experience spans a wide variety of project types: office/distribution facilities and warehouses; industrial/manufacturing facilities; corporate and spec offices; retail stores and centers; high- and low-rise construction. The main focus of Bill's recent experience is office/distribution and manufacturing projects. He has personally managed more than 80 of these projects in the past 20 years.

Bill is RWA's Principal in Charge of Design. He's responsible for the aesthetic quality and constructability of all Ruark & Wyatt projects. He handles most of the preliminary planning, including initial site planning and scope development. He also develops any marketing or presentation drawings and renderings needed for the project.

Kevin Wyatt, AIA

Kevin's experience spans a wide variety of project types, including new construction, renovation and rehabilitation. Building types include: office/distribution centers; manufacturing/industrial facilities; low- and high-rise offices; big-box retail/warehouse stores; religious/educational; high-rise apartments; parking decks. Kevin's recent experience includes tens of millions of square feet of office/distribution facilities in Georgia and the southeast, including many build-to-suit projects.

Kevin is RWA's Principal in Charge of Construction Documents. Kevin is responsible for the content and accuracy of RWA's drawings and written specifications. He handles most technical aspects of each project, and is well-versed in building codes and regulations. While both RWA principals have a significant knowledge of construction processes, Kevin has the final word on construction administration matters.
